Instructions for translators

Rules

  • Everybody can make the suggestions
  • Only registered users can vote on the suggestions
  • "Promoted" users can approve the suggestions

How to become promoted?

  1. Look at the steam-page component and check the translation for your language (even check if everything is all right)
  2. Join discord: https://discord.gg/avBjPqT
  3. Post info into #translation channel: which language you would like to help with
  4. Wait for the reply from the devs

New language?

Discuss it in the #translation channel on Discord.

Variables

There are variables in the strings enclosed by {parenthesis}. These will be replaced in the game. We are using C# smart strings library for the manipulations.

Pluralization

You have {0} new {0:message|messages}
// Outputs: "You have 3 messages"

{ContractsLimit} offered {ContractsLimit:contract|contracts} limit reached.
// Outputs: "1 contract limit reached" or "2 contracts limit reached"

You can use also {var:ZERO|ONE|FEW|MORE} in languages when applicable.

  • Translations can be made directly.
  • Translation suggestions can be made.
  • Any authenticated user can contribute.
  • The translation uses monolingual files.
  • The translation base language is editable.

Built on a [Platform], it automates the stabling process for [Reg]ional trains during their intermission and their preparation for the next journey.

It enqueues the pre-configured [Shunting Commands] to the train's [Shunting Queue] once the train completes its current leg and the eventual transfer to the next leg start.
